Silly Saturday - Jimmy Finds a Frisbee

I think we could all use a laugh these days. It truly is the best medicine. Jimmy is more than happy to provide it! Here he is "playing" with a frisbee we found on the beach.

It's Jim's Toy Time!!!!!

(bonus points to anyone who can tell me what I just spoofed.)

After two months of picking dog treats for my Chewy.com product review, this month I chose a toy. I chose the Zogoflex Air DASH by West Paw Design. It's a rugged flying disc toy that flies well and if you want, it floats! The very first thing I noticed was that it was Made in America! Woohoo! That made me happy.

Next, I saw that it was designed for easy pick-up from the ground. It has a bit of a wavy edge that allows your fingers (and your dog's mouth!) to get a grip without struggling like you do with a normal flat flying disc.

 
Jimmy is my toy-motivated dog so I gave him the chance to check it out. He was more than happy to unwrap his new toy....

 Instantly, he claimed it for himself!

Jimmy really liked this toy. He took to it instantly. It's great for tugging as it is comfortable on your hand and easy to grip. It is rather heavy so I am not sure it's something a tiny dog could play with. I tugged vigorously, pulled, pried, lifted Jimmy off his feet, and not a tooth mark could be found. But I should note, it is not rigid either. It has a yielding texture that should be kind to your dog's teeth, unlike what happens if you use a frisbee made for people. Those can easily break off your dog's canine teeth!

I definitely give it two thumbs up and Jimmy gives it four paws up. Great toy. Thank you, Chewy.com!
