Okay - that is only going to make sense to people who have (obviously) watched S3 of Bosch on Amazon Prime.... But we JUST watched it and an owl just like that was part of the plot.
Ghostwriter saw an owl once while she was driving to work on a country road just before dawn. It was flying along the road at 30mph, so she passed him.
I have to tell you - I didn't realize those faux owls were a thing (this was over 10 years ago) and I kept seeing this owl on my neighbor's roof. And every single time - I would be so happy and excited to see him. The neighbors seemed to move him so he would face a different way every few days, so that added to my belief it was real. And then, finally, after about 2 weeks, I realized it wasn't real. I'm pretty sure every critter in the neighborhood realized it wasn't real long before I did. Doh.
Is Wilson too gentlemanly to curse? Because sometimes the wisest thing you can ask is WTF. :)
