Funny this is the picture you posted! We were walking a few weeks ago when the lake looked frozen, but I couldn't tell how much so like an idiot I decided to throw a rock onto it to see ... and who gives chase to the rock but Tucker!! I never thought he would ... Teach could care less ... LOL!! Learned my lesson. I was yelling at him and showing the treat bad to get him to come back quickly as the ice was breaking under his feet ... YIKES!!
Excellent title! Pretty spot! (I was worried either.) This reminds me though of the time the hubs took the beagle walking on the path by our apt. when we lived in Canada. There was a stream that was frozen over. I never used to let her off leash but he was a dummy, i mean a trusting soul, so he'd let her off. Well, she ran out on the stream and broke through. He was just about to tromp out there after her when she managed to hoist herself back up on the ice - and then she raced around like a maniac devil dog for ages. (I guess trying to warm up!) Scary at the time - but funny to look back on. (Glad I wasn't there or I probably would have killed him for letting her off leash!)
It really goes both ways. Sometimes I think of a W word that I can illustrate and other times I just see a photo I like and I try to make it work. It's getting hard not to repeat myself :-)
Wow, Wilson's walking on water!
ReplyDeleteCold paws? Don't hang around there Wilson, there's treats to be had!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteOh the trusty treat bag, no way will they get too far from that treat bag. Great pictures the lake is just beautiful~
ReplyDeleteIf Wilson CAN walk on water, that has got to be worth way more than the toast that had a picture of Jesus on it!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great shot and hooray for the treat bag. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I love how you can see right through the ice! It makes for a fun photo. Glad Wilson was wise to not step any further out there though.

ReplyDeleteWell Wilson Will Wag Whether Walking On Water Or Not. :)
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that although I know you'd never let Wilson do anything unsafe, I felt a sense of suspense looking at your shots.
Just don't fall in buddy!

ReplyDeleteAwesome title! Do you take the photo first and then make the title? Or vice-versa?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colors with Wilson and the water.
