I don't think this post can get away with being 100% wordless, so I'll give a quick explanation so it makes sense....
You may remember the post about my new mattresses, and how they were so high, the boys couldn't get on. But then I found Wilson happily staring out the window. Somehow he had made the leap. Well, even after getting the low-profile boxspring, it wasn't as low as the old mattress. It was still too much of an effort to get up, and I didn't like him jumping down from that height either. So I tried out various methods to give him a boost. I settled for putting a cedar chest I had in my closet next to the bed. It wasn't a pretty solution, but it was a free one ;-) With a little bit of training both boys had the idea.
And then one day I saw this...................
AWWWWWWWWWW!

Wilson, you have found a perfect spot!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so sweet and peaceful!! And sometimes you just don't have enough umph to make that last leap.

Looks like it was made for him.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha!
ReplyDeleteHe. Just. Couldn't. Make. It. Any. Farther.
:)
Wilson is one smart cookie. It's perfect. Cardi sized.
ReplyDeleteThat is just too adorable!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute picture! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest! Maybe Wilson took one look at that mountain of comforter directly in his path and decided to take a nap. I hope Jimmy is continuing to do well.
ReplyDeleteSusan (and Wrigs)
What ever makes you comfortable!
ReplyDeletehaha! It's like his very own bed! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I'm sure he thinks that is his own personal bed.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should put another one in front of the window he likes!
ReplyDeleteSo-o-o-o! cute! Always the unexpected with cardis!
ReplyDeleteBOL funny. Do you think Wilson thinks it's his own bed now? Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Ahahahaha!!!
ReplyDeleteIs the new mattress too warm? I was also thinking what Rebecca said that maybe he needed a break on the way up!
ReplyDeleteLOL he is a very resourceful lad! My bed is so high! Becky can leap from a sitting position onto it - she is a rabbit I think. However, Kodee has never been able to get on a couch, bed or even climb in a car. I do not want her jumping off my bed and invested in very expensive stairs.... that she won't use to go up/down. :/ So at least be happy you were more ingenious with the chest!
ReplyDeleteOh my dog! It's just his size. Love it!
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's too cute. :D
ReplyDeleteThat is criminally cute
ReplyDeleteUrban hounds
It's because he CAN! SHE says we do stuff like that all the time....mess with HER head.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
That is SO cute! (How's Jimmy?)
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! I guess he got tired on the way up!
ReplyDeleteHa! That's awesome. Who needs a fancy dog bed?
ReplyDeleteMaybe he got tired half way up?
ReplyDeleteMonty and Harlow
Well, the crate is the perfect size for Wilson!
ReplyDeleteWhen things like that happen I never have the camera handy! I love it when our dogs do something totally unexpected. Now Wilson has got 2 beds, clever boy :)
ReplyDeleteAwwwww how cute :) Wilson you look very comfy on your chest :) Milo & Jet
ReplyDeleteYups, pawfect Wilson. Pawfect. Now, if you can convince your Moms to attach a pad to the top of the chest, it would be FABulous!! BOL
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
