Where in the World are J&W - Part 5

After three days of enjoying the sights around Lake Winnipesaukee, it was time to move on once again. The drive was a bit longer this time, probably about six hours of small back roads mixed with a major highway.

Here the boys are out for a stroll along the waterfront.

It was unusually hot, so everyone went for a dip in the water at a small beach by the town's harbor. The water was so cold, Jimmy and Wilson were shivering! It wasn't enough to dim their enthusiasm for playing, but we had to make sure they took breaks to warm up. It's not everyday the dogs get to swim along side huge yachts. The black sailboat docked in the background was a 60 foot boat! That's a very large sailboat and look how tiny it looks in front of that power yacht. There were many boats of this caliber in the local waters.

A very delicious and common meal..........

Plenty of touristy shopping was to be found here! Here's a night view looking up into the main shopping district from the waterfront.

Despite the VERY chilly water temperatures, we still spent some time exploring on the jetski. There were quite a few rocky and unpopulated islands a short distance off shore. This was BIG water here, so we didn't want to wander too far from familiar scenery!
