At this point, it was time for me to step in and ruin Jimmy's fun. I was pretty sure he was going to eat it and that was not going to happen! I'm so mean!

This was very likely the skin of a harmless Black Rat snake. They are good as rodent control and helpful to have around. When I see them in my yard, I usually just relocate them to the woods further from my house.
