And Then There Were Three!

Well, I guess yesterday's post may have left a few lingering questions! On Monday, Wilson got his very own Mini-me! He's not entirely sure it was a good idea (all that puppy energy and such!), but he is adjusting just fine (when the puppy is sleepy!).....LOL!

So, who is this? This is a little 10 week old Cardigan who is still waiting for us to pick his name. If I like a name, then John doesn't, and vice versa. We will get there eventually. We have given ourselves through the weekend to get it done! Suggestions are very welcome!

Let's see a few pictures from before he came home with me....(photo credits go to his breeder Cheryl)

Itty Bitty Baby!

Having his herding instinct checked at 8 weeks.

Looking might cute at 7 weeks!

And finally he is home!

Finally in my own yard at 10 weeks!

A good long nap after two days of travel.

Classic Puppy, chewing up a slipper!

For the safety of both, this is how Jimmy and the pup interact for now.
It's not an easy adjustment becoming the middle child!

This will help gauge his size as the weeks go by!

He's a very handsome little fellow.
I may have to change the name of this blog! It is no longer "Two Cardis"! And even when the sad day comes that Wilson leaves us, A Tail of Two Cardis will always mean Wilson and Jimmy to me! I have a name in mind so maybe I will work on a new header......

  4. Hey, Little One, what are the parameters for selecting your name—Theme? already selected registered name? Beginning with the letter [blank]? We love to make suggestions, without any need to be "right"!

How about Wesley? Personally one of my fave characters (love Princess Bride!) but also works for Wednesdays.

  8. He is very reminiscent of your first cardi, Dylan, isn't he? Well, I suppose you could name him Thomas (or possibly B/Robby)...

  10. Serious puppy love here! I like Jackie’s Wesley idea. Then when puppy training is complete, you can say confidently, “My Wesley will always come for me.”

  11. Sort of thought the family had a new member, but didn't want to stick our necks out and say it. So cute...even chewing slippers. Look forward to all the fun you'll have. Congratulations on the new baby.

  13. I kind of like "Wren," a Welsh man's name, meaning druid or ruler, as well as the bird....

  14. Wow, wow, wow. I am so happy for you. He even looks a little like Wilson. He is so cute. I wish that I were there so that I could feel his silky fur and smell his puppy breath! As for a name, you have lots of great suggestions but only you and John really know him. Have fun choosing!
