I hand him the flag, telling him to "Get It!", the words I use for him to grab his leash and tug. In retrospect, probably not the best choice of words!
He instantly snapped off the little flag pole |
Getting ready to shred it next |
This was the best we could do! |
That is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to teach Delilah to fetch things for us, but haven't quite figured out how yet, I suspect I would have the same results you had.
Happy 4th!
Very funny photo shoot! Tug that flag, Jimmy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day to you!
Ha ha chew dude chew we say. Happy 4th of July to you all. Sorry we have been away so long but we have missed you all. Have a lovely day and great seeing everybody again. Hope to be back soon.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly The Wally
Has wood, will snap! What else would a pup do! SHE understands all about those out-takes....BOL!
ReplyDeleteHaha haha that reminds me of a post we did last year called "4th of July photo shoot"; about trying to get one good pic to use. Every time I go back and read that post, I laugh at at-least one of the pictures! Jimmy looks so cute with that flag and I think the resulting picture turned out great :)
ReplyDeleteStill great photos! Happy Independence Day!
ReplyDeleteCrikey .... love it!! AND you did get a great shot anyway!! Happy independence day.
ReplyDeleteBOL!! OMD, who could blame ya??! It's attached to a 'stick' afterall! Ma tried that once and I just bit down and CRUNCH! hehehe
ReplyDeleteHopes you all have a most FABulous 4th! Stay safe and eats lots of dropped foodables...☺
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
That's very funny! I've had some odd results when I try a command that's not quite on point....
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Cute. I know you're not supposed to burn a flag, but what 'are the rules about eating one?? :P
ReplyDeleteTee hee
ReplyDeleteHaha - I've not had luck either. However, I did find if I wrap the stick in a bit of cloth it stops them from chewing on it. Still a great photo!
