Yes, my mother did teach me that it's rude to brag.....but I simply must! Part of what this blog is all about is Jimmy's journey with AKC (American Kennel Club) agility. There is always a bit of a lag on their website for trial results to show. Finally, it was updated through the end of December. Nothing else is coming in, so I pulled the report for Cardigan Welsh Corgis who compete in the Preferred class. At first I couldn't find Jimmy's name as I was looking in the 8, 9, 10 range like last year. And then, all of the sudden, I see it! Jimmy came in at #2! WOO-freaking-HOO! I am so proud of my boy. We don't trial excessively so it's his speed that got us there!

ReplyDeleteVery nice. How do you get those reports? Do you have to pay for them? Would be interested to see where Shiloh ranks, though I'm sure not very high given the sheer number of Shelties competing. I do check the breed power 10 (of which he is the number 1 20" inch sheltie, though there are only 8 of them, lol). Very interesting, though. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteYou get the reports on the akc website under their store, then reports, competitor reports for last calendar year. I think it was 10 for the top 50 report.
