    1. Actually, Jimmy did eat some of the rind. When it looked like he was going to settle in for a long chew, I threw it away. However, I don't think it is bad for him, just a bit too bulky. My horses used to love watermelon rinds and had no issues after eating them. Of course, they do have an herbivore's gut, so it may agree with them better.
