Mischief Monday: Sand, Sand, and More Sand!

As you may have guessed from last Friday's post as well as my new header photo, once again we've been down to our condo in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We had an incredibly gorgeous week of clear blue skies, warm temps, and ample beach time.

The boys were more than happy to stretch their legs on the beach with a good game of fetch.....

The mischief enters the picture when we all go inside and dry off. Wherever the boys decide to lie, be it the floor or the bed, a large pile of sand can be found when they vacate the spot. It doesn't matter how much rinsing I do with the hose, their thick coats hold onto incredible amounts of sand and it all drops out once the fur dries!

  1. On no and I bet you keep finding more. I bring back lots of grass seeds at the moment but at least they brush out. Have a marvellous Monday.

  4. OMD, I hear you on the sand thing. We took a break from the beach this summer and the "no sand EVERYWHERE" part of that has been fabulous! I can't even imagine how much sand those little low riders must pick up! Rita is bad enough!

  5. Looks like a wonderful time at the beach and I love your Header pic.
I get the Sand attacks every day, we're at the beach here and William brings it back all the time. I reckon I'll need a digger to clear it all away soon!

  9. That sand is a real hassle - one thing I hate about taking the dogs to the beach. It's a beautiful beach though, so how could you stay away!

  10. Beautiful picture of the boys! It's been so many years since I've been to the beach, that I'd forgotten all about the way sand tends to get into everything. Worth the mess, though, isn't it? :-)

  12. The beach sounds like a lot of fun. Sand in the fur and in the house does not. I bet the fun makes it worthwhile, though. :)
