The boys were playing in one of their favorite streams yesterday morning. Despite being in the woods, nice fetching sticks are at a premium here. When it really rains hard, the stream flash floods, and the banks are cleared of sticks, dirt, and all manner of debris. And this summer, we've had a lot of rain! I tossed a twig, and they both went for it! Both boys got it at the same time and a game of tug ensued. However, the game quickly became a bit too serious. Neither boy was going to let go! Growling started, then, snap!, Wilson had the lion's share of the stick and Jimmy had, well, not enough......I caught the moment. Just look at that canine body language! Fortunately, Wilson is never one for a fight, and he dropped the stick.....(as always click to enlarge)
