Vacation Leftovers

I am down to a few last photos from our Ithaca trip that are blog worthy.....

This was an old campsite area in the Watkins Glen State Park. It had quite a few cement top tables, but it looks like the moss took over. I don't think anyone would want to use them for eating unless they had a large table cloth! It made a neat spot for a photo-op however.....

And a large set of steps.......This time back at Taughannock State Park....

And finally, if you ever find yourself in Ithaca, be sure to eat here......

It's a world famous vegetarian restaurant in business since the 70's. The food was absolutely delicious!

Now, I am back to the dilemma of needing blog fodder. It's been miserably hot here lately and walks have been short and uneventful. For that matter, I haven't even been carrying my camera! Whatever will I post?!

  7. Call me crazy - but I want that table, especially with the moss on it!! That's the coolest picnic table EVER!!!

Maybe you could take pictures of the designs your perspiration makes on the sidewalk? ;)

  8. It looks like you pasted Jimmy and Wilson in those pictures.

I'm feeling you on the not having blog fodder thing. I walk Beamer at night now, so our pictures are kind of awful. I think I'm going to go through some of my old photos of Beamer and come up with stuff :P

  14. Ya we are in a blog funk too, at least until we can leave next week. The heat is a mind killer. I love those photos though, that table is awesome!

  15. That moss-covered table is great! Isn't amazing how quickly nature takes over? The moss probably made a cool, comfortable surface for the boys to lie on. Beautiful steps, too! I'm pretty sure I've heard of Moosewood. I think they have a cookbook out--I'll have to look that up.
