Getting Down to the Root of It All!

What camera? I don't see a camera?
Jimmy would have none of it when it came to his modeling duties for this shot. I feel like I take a lot more pictures of Wilson just because he's so much more cooperative. I wanted to give Jimmy a chance at being the star, but he would not look at the camera! Here is a prime example. I made every possible noise to catch his attention, and he Would. Not. Look. Wilson gazed into the lens continually........

Jimmy: That big Cyclops eye scares me!
I don't  know. Maybe it's an indoor vs outdoor thing.....Be sure to tune in tomorrow to see both boys giving it their all to entertain you!

  1. When it comes to being photographed, Darby is just like Wilson and Pumpkin is just like Jimmy.

  4. It took Monty a while to catch on to the whole camera thing. Now if I even touch the camera he starts posing his little heart out.

  5. Wrigs doesn't like looking at the camera either. I have two cameras, and the one I use most often has a large (about 2" diameter) lens. I think it makes Wrigs uncomfortable. He doesn't mind the other camera, which has a very small lens, nearly as much. Love that first photo, though! That must be a huge old tree.

  6. Hmmm, I'm with Jimmy. I rarely look into the camera. It drives everyone nuts! BOL *whispers* That's why I do it.

  7. These guys are either hamming it for the camera, or trying to ignore it.

  8. Sherman is the same as Jimmy is with the camera. Very rarely can I get a good picture of him. Leroy on the other hand loves the camera and will look right into it all the time!

  9. It's pretty tough to always be on modeling duty. But you both do it so well.

    1. LOL! They are always well paid. I have a treat bag attached to my leash and they are often rewarded for a job well done.

  11. I do OK getting Gizmo to pose. but when there's two dogs involved it's a different story...Getting them in synch is always good for a ton of laughs

  12. It's funny how dogs can act differently around cameras. I've definitely known some camera-shy dogs. But our last dog, Abby, LOVED the camera. I swear she was posing for me. She would strike such poses! Such a total ham.

  13. Wilson reminds me of some of my young girlfriends who LOVE having their pictures taken and are always ready to strike a pose. Jimmy? He's exactly like me.
