From Before Sandy Stole All of Our Leaves!

Well Hurricane Sandy has roared past my area in the DC suburbs. It was mainly just A LOT of rain and strong, gusty winds. Unfortunately, the areas north of here fared much worse. My thoughts/prayers go out to them.

Here are a few pictures from a few days past, when the fall leaves were in the last of their glory....

The full-frame version of my header photo

We took a motorcycle ride out to the Virginia countryside on Saturday. The leaves were definitely on their way out as far as color and what was still on the trees. But it was still a gorgeous ride on twisty country roads...

  5. I don't care who you vote for, what clothes you wear or where you are from. Please, those going through this hurricane...work together and help each other out. These are the times when we Americans need to Unite and be there for each other. Show the world that we are kind, helpful, good neighbors. God bless you all on the coast - wish I could be there to help out.
