To Extrapolate on Yesterday's Post

A few months back, Facebook was circulating a Travel App where  you could indicate all the US states you had visited. After tallying up my own states (about 40 of them!), I got to thinking about how many the boys had been to. They travel with us pretty often, so they have seen their share of the lower 48!

Here's Wilson's list:

Tennessee - his birth state
Missouri - while he lived with Marla
Illinois - passing through on the way to KY
Indiana - passing through on the way to KY
Kentucky - where he came into my life as a young pup, and a couple of Nat'l Specialties
Ohio - another Nat'l Specialty
West Virginia
Virginia - his home
North Carolina
South Carolina - his home away from home
Maryland
Delaware
New Jersey - where I grew up
Pennsylvania
New York
Connecticut
Rhode Island
New Hampshire
Massachusetts
Maine

and one out-of-country trip to Canada!

Here's Jimmy's list:

Kentucky - a Nat'l Specialty
Ohio - another Nat'l Specialty
West Virginia
Virginia - his home and birth state
North Carolina
South Carolina - his home away from home
Maryland
Delaware
New Jersey - where I grew up
Pennsylvania
New York
Connecticut
Rhode Island
New Hampshire
Massachusetts
Maine

and one out-of-country trip to Canada!

How about your dogs? Where have they been?

  1. Your boys have traveled more than a lot of people! Darby and Pumpkin haven't been many places at all. Darby was born in Arkansas and had a layover in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas (I believe) when she flew to her forever home with me. Pumpkin was born in Arkansas, also, and when she and I flew home to San Diego we had a layover in Denver, Colorado.

  2. Charlie, our first CWC, traveled to every state in the continental US, except Louisiana and the eastern seaboard (Delaware, NJ, RI, CT MA, Maine) and NH and VT. He ended up with 60,000+ thousand miles under his paws, in his many cross ('round) -country trips looking for old books. He learned to overcome his youthful enthusiasm and love of old leather, which led him to put his teeth delicately at the top of a spine and riiip!

  3. Dixie was born in Georgia (natch) but I am not sure if Sue Mesa took her anywhere before Dix flew here. Radar and Dixie have been to California, Oregon, Washington, BC, Alberta, Yukon and Alaska.

The puppy Boom has only been to Oregon, Washington and BC.

States are much bigger out west!

  4. Let's see for Sam:

    Born in Finland
    Missouri
    Texas (Natl Specialty)
    Kentucky
    Virginia
    Rhode Island
    Massachusetts
    Connecticut
    New Hampshire
    New York
    New Jersey
    Delaware
    Maryland
    Indiana
    Illinois
    Pennsylvania
    Ohio
    West Virginia
    North Carolina

That's 18 states and one foreign country, that I can think of. If I looked at a map, I might realize there are some more in there. Yup, he was well-traveled.
