Living the T-Shirt Life - Volume Six - Dazzling!

Long time readers might remember a topic I revisit from time to time where I highlight a T-Shirt I got. My last post was also a corgi themed shirt and you can see it here.  It provides links to the rest of the series as well. At any rate......

Nice Cardigan Corgi T's are much harder to find than ones for Pembrokes. The market is a lot smaller so the incentive isn't there, I guess. At one of my recent agility trials, a vendor was debuting a new line she had. It was very colorful embroidery in the breed of your choice. She didn't have a Cardigan on display, but I was able to order one and have it mailed to me.

I think it is just gorgeous! You can pick your t-shirt color but it really stands out best against black. I had bling (swarovski crystals but my photos don't show them off well) added to the outline, but that is totally optional. You can also pick the color thread that provides the outline. I love teal so that's what I chose. If you pick a different outline color, I think it changes a few of the colors in the middle.

Here is what I'm talking about.....

Is it still a Selfie if you crop your face out?!

And a close-up.....

The bling is very sparkly but my camera couldn't catch it.

This weekend is the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Potomac Agility trial
and I can't wait to show off my new Tee!

UPDATE: Here is the website for this vendor:

Living the T-Shirt Life - Volume Five - Don't I Wish??!!

It's been quite a while since I've added to this particular series of posts, like all the way back in 2012! Holy Moly! But I recently got a new T-Shirt that is just so very adorable I had to revive this theme.

I can only say that I really wish I had gotten this T in real life and not just received it in the mail. The shirt commemorates what must be a fabulously fun day, Southern California (SoCal) Corgi Beach Day. From all reports I've heard, somewhere around 600, yes!, 600 corgis attended this event. You can read more about it here.

Without further ado, here's one of the cutest dog-themed shirts I've seen in a while! Be sure to click to enlarge to see it in all its glory. The front and back views are the front and back of the bus!

Terry S: Did Reggie get to participate? If not, the next one is July 11th!

Living the T-Shirt Life - Volume Four.....but NCC*

* No Corgi Content

Today is National Bike to Work Day!

Today is  National Bike to Work Day. Living, as I do,  right on the W and OD Bike Trail/Park , which is a major bicycle commuter route, I thought I would participate in today's event. It was a well-coordinated effort and if you pre-registered for the event, you got a t-shirt. Who doesn't love a free t-shirt?! I often walk the dogs along the horse trail that runs parallel with the paved bike trail so I know the usual volume of bikes going to work in the morning. There was very definitely a big uptick in the amount of riders out there today! As part of the event, there are pit-stops scattered throughout the region. There was one about three miles from my house, so that's where we headed to pick up our t-shirts, etc. They were providing fruit, snacks, drinks, etc.

Pit Stop in Sterling, Virginia

Now, I work for a great company that allows us to work from home at least one day a week. Friday is my usual day, so I can't really say I biked to my office (a 17 mile ride!), but I did bike to "work" since I rode home after checking out the pit-stop.

Did anyone else ride a bike to work today?

Living the T-Shirt Life - Volume Three

I am a big fan of Mazdas. They are any incredibly fun line of cars to drive and a great value for your money. I have a Mazda5 and just love it. It makes a perfect dog car. At any rate, Zoom Zoom is one of their motos but as we all know, it fits in the dog world as well!

So, here's my latest installment on T-Shirt living.......
