Someone's One!

I don't know how it happened but Cedar is ONE YEAR OLD  today! Raising a puppy has made time speed up! It doesn't feel at all like he should be one!

Here he is, taken today on his walk.....as cute as ever!

And of course there was birthday hat torture! He wasn't loving it, but he was a good boy and kept the hat on for a few moments.

One of his gifts was a (replacement) piggy. He had one before that finally bit the dust a few weeks back. He was thrilled to get a new one!

Finally, a cake! It's very hard to resist a quick lick while the photos are taken!

Wilson Wishing on Wordless Wednesday!

Eleven!

Today is Jimmy's 11th birthday! Where has all the time gone?! We told him he was allowed to get old, but, alas, he is not listening too well. It is particularly hard for me to see my agility teammate age. He's still playing the game (he has a trial tomorrow!) but the trials this year may well be his last. We certainly don't want to risk injury. But for today and tomorrow, it's still all about the fun!

It is a nice warm day so his walk included time for playing in the water. That made him very happy!

When he got home we had hot dogs on the grill so he could enjoy a favorite food. Then we moved on to cake and gifts!...........But first there was photo torture!

Followed by even more goodies.....

A Decade of Jimmy! Someone is TEN!!!!!!

Today Jimmy turned 10 years old! It is so hard to believe. The time has truly flown by!

He had a very big day! A nice long walk to get things started......

Followed by chewing a tasty marrow bone in the back yard. My pictures for that were all a blur so you will have to take my word that he really enjoyed it! Wilson joined in and his picture turned out fine!

Next the mailman delivered a birthday card! Jimmy's breeder remembers his birthday each and every year! Thanks, Anne!

Being a nice day, we decided to have burgers on the grill. Jimmy was a bit anxious for dinner to start!

And after dinner, of course there was cake! No birthday would be complete without it! Plus the requisite embarrassing birthday hat!

He had his cake and ate it, too!

Just A Little Taste

As you may recall, last Friday was Wilson's 11th birthday. We didn't have cake until the end of the day, so there were no party pictures to accompany last Friday's post. We got an ice cream cake for the occasion and here is how it looked:
