September is Our Month!

I have definitely posted about this before (here  and here), but now that it is officially our month, I had to get pictures of it in real time......

As reported before, both my boys made it into separate Corgi wall calendars, both for the month of September. The cool thing about that is September is my birthday month so it sort of feels like a gift!

But even more amazing......Wilson made it into the Corgi-A-Day desk calendar for September 4th. What's so amazing about that? He landed directly on my birthday!!! It doesn't get any better than that!

Wilson Wants a Winner on Wordy Wednesday!

This week I have to go with a Wordy Wednesday. I can't do a GIVEAWAY without a few words! I have an extra copy of the 2017 Welsh Corgis calendar that needs a new home before it goes to waste. This is the one that features Wilson as Mr. September. I already have two copies for myself, one for the wall and one to keep sealed and safe as a memento. So my third copy that the photographer gave me needs a person of its own!

It Happened Again!

I had the best surprise last night as I was flipping through my FaceBook feed. Someone posted that all of their Cardigans had made it into the 2017 Welsh Corgis Wall Calendar. They posted a little screen print of the calendar and circled their pups. I could see it was not the same calendar that Jimmy made it into for 2017.

Do you see what I saw?! Yep, there he is! Third row down in the middle, Wilson made it into another calendar! Woohoo! He's Mr. September, same as Jimmy is in the other calendar! September is my birthday month so I am getting a double treat!

I am so happy to have run across that post because it never occurred to me to look in another Corgi calendar for my guys! The boys are definitely getting their 15 minutes of fame in the calendar world!

I'm SO Excited .......Again!

Last August I reported on how Wilson's photo (taken by professional photographer Dwight Dyke) had been chosen to go into the 2016 For Love of Welsh Corgis calendar. It was a thrill to see Wilson get his 15 minutes of fame, or in this case, 30 days of fame!

Well, I just got that thrill all over again! This time it is Jimmy's turn. Something made me think to check Calendars.com to see what the 2017 calendar looked like....and there he was! Jimmy is going to be Mr. September! It's sort of like a birthday gift to me as my birthday is in September.

Mr. March!!!

You might remember, way back in August, when I mentioned Wilson's photo* made it into one of the commercial Corgi calendars. Well, here it is, his month, and I can't let such a momentous occasion slip past a blog post!

Here he is, posed with his calendar. I of course am as thrilled as ever. I am not so sure Wilson is as excited. I couldn't get a smile from him no matter what! I guess being a celebrity has gone to his head!

We've Made the Big Time at Last!

Many of you probably saw my post over on FaceBook. I couldn't contain my excitement long enough to write this post!

Long time readers of my blog may remember this post where I showed the photographs taken by professional photographer Dwight Dyke. He came to the agility trial specifically to use the beautiful scenery to capture photos of the many breeds represented. His photos are often accepted into the big name calendars you see in the stores at Christmas time. And guess what???!!! Putzing around on the computer yesterday, it occurred to me to see what the 2016 corgi calendars looked like.....and THERE IT WAS!!!

OMD!!!! There's Wilson soaring over the jump as Mr. March! People all across the country will get to see my boy!!! He's practically famous or will be when this calendar hits the stands! The only thing that could have made this sweeter is if I had taken that photo myself!
