In need of a Wordless Wednesday post and short on recently taken photos, I was scouring my archives for something that would spark some "W" words in my mind. I came across the pictures I used yesterday and it instantly became easy. It was also a funny coincidence because yesterday I took the day off from work to go visit Jimmy's breeder. She had a litter she was socializing and was throwing a puppy party so the young'uns could be exposed to different people. She also had a friend over who brought her puppies! It was a real puppy-palooza! Who wouldn't take a vacation day for that, amiright?!
Anyway, I plan to entertain you for a few days with puppy pictures! No words needed!
Ready? Here we go!

WABAC with Jimmy, Too!
Well, I was a tad surprised yesterday by how few people knew who Mr.Peabody was and how I was trying to relate the two photos! I wish I had made a contest out of that one for sure! Jackie, you would have been the lucky winner..... I thought for sure my title of .....Wayback With Wilson..... was a dead giveaway!
The cartoon show from the early 60's, was part of the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, known as Peabody's Improbable History. I think I knew it more as Mr. Peabody and the WayBack Machine. Reading through the Wikipedia page , I realized my memories where a tad off, but I was quite young when I watched those shows! Mr. Peabody created the WABAC time machine as a way to teach his young friend, Sherman, about history. I definitely didn't know it was called WABAC, which was a take-off on early computer acronyms such as UNIVAC and ENIAC. I thought it was Wayback, but now as an adult, I can certainly understand the pun that would have gone over my head at the time.
Here's a picture of Mr.Peabody and Sherman as they enter the WABAC machine. Does it stir any memories?
While reading up on this topic today, I learned there is a new Dream Works animated movie coming out in the spring of 2014, Mr.Peabody and Sherman . I guess that isn't surprising as Hollywood seems to love remakes!
At any rate, I took the WABAC machine to August of 2007 to bring you this shot of Jimmy on Day One with us.(Wilson's picture yesterday was his Day One as well!) Even at that young age, his intensity shows through!
