As for your question about R's elbow, it is different from that knee procedure (but that sounds ingenius and I'm so glad it helped you MIL!). In this case, they actually install a "circular surface" that is higher than the rest of the joint surface. Then, the stress is all borne by that synthetic surface. I'm still learning about it myself so I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well. I may try to explain again after I do some more reading!
OMD, that is one pawsome sentry spot!!! I wish I could look out the window like that!! Ma says that I gets too excited and might put a paw through, so I gets the sliding glass door instead..not bad, butts sometimes you want a new movie, ya know? ☺ Kisses, Ruby ♥
