It's not often we use our dining room. Christmas, when John's family drops by, and a few other rare occasions. Tuesday was our big snow day, so John decided a big pot of spaghetti was in order. It's a great cold weather meal. Since it is easy to make a lot, we invited our next door neighbors over to join us. The more, the merrier, right? To get stuff ready ahead of time, I set the dining room table.
That was all the hint Jimmy needed, and he settled himself under the table. It really cracked me up to see this the next time I walked through the room......

ReplyDeleteIs there a monster under the table?!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love how they read signals? Louie used to get so excited when I set the dining room table because he knew a crowd of his fans was headed in to see him.

Smart fella!!! Now, just give a light tap of the paw on the foot of a male peep (they're more susceptible to our canine charms...) to gets some foodables handed to you on the sly....

Looks like he found the best seat in the house, and I agree, spaghetti is the perfect cold weather meal.

ReplyDeleteYou're pretty smart Jimmy. :D Maya and Pierson like to wait under the table, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a smart pup. I hope the waiting wasn't in vain. Beamer does the same thing.
