So the one common topic across about 90% of our nation today is the extreme cold temperatures. Everywhere you look online, they are talking about this
Polar Vortex .
Well, Jimmy and Wilson want you to know......It takes more than that to keep a true corgi indoors! Here they are sunbathing in our unseasonably cold weather....
|
It's almost balmy out here today! |
|
Jimmy did move when the chimney shadow blocked his sunlight! |
|
I think I am more concerned about the indoor temperature! |
Now I will acknowledge, 13 degrees is
nothing compared to the temps in the upper midwest. But the average
low for the DC area on this day is 28.7 degrees, and this morning the low was 3 degrees. That's still a noticeable difference!
Stay thirsty warm, my friends!
Hi Taryn! I'm Heather and I was wondering if you could answer a question about your blog! If you could email me at Lifesabanquet1(at)gmail(dot)com that would be great!
ReplyDeleteGreat header!
ReplyDeleteLucky boys that they can go out. We feel for those stuck indoors. Enjoy your sun and even if it is cold at least it is doable. We too are lucky here with mild weather but oh my the rain and the winds. Let us all hope for an early Spring. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Looks like lovely weather :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're watching the News and hearing about the Polar Vortex, too. Lying in the sun puddles outdoors looks great. Enjoy that slightly warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
I am going to have to talk to Jinnie and Garrett to tell them that I don't have REAL corgis.
ReplyDeleteMine were more than happy to come back into the house after a QUICK trip into the back yard at -20 plus the last two mornings. Even my fluff was quick about the trip outside. Usually she takes time to roll around on her back in the show and ice. Go figure!
I think your corgis get a pass......-20 is a totally different climate than my 13! I don't think I would want mine outside for more than a minute in your temps!
DeleteHowdy Mates, good to see you getting a little sun. Enjoy and keep warm mates. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteI'm shivering at your indoor temperature of 55.9! I'm wearing wrist warmers just to work on the computer and it's about 65 in here! (Guess that proves for sure that I'm not a corgi:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever little dog to follow the sun :)
ReplyDeleteSunbathing!!!! What tough dudes they are!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of you, hoping that you're healing and getting closer to being able to enjoy the outdoor temperatures.
It's about 0 degrees out there right now. What did my golden retriever do? Lie down in the snow and roll around. And the beagle started chewing ice.
ReplyDeleteCrazy dogs. :)
Jimmy just knows how to look cool in the cold.
It's 20 right now. For a 10.5lb Dachshund with really short/thin fur, it really is polar!
ReplyDeleteNola
It is a little surreal for us to watch the news. Our temps are hovering at 71 degrees - perfect for riding and walking the pups.
ReplyDeleteMonty and Harlow
Looks like they don't mind too bad. But brrrrrr. just the same.
ReplyDeleteIt was about the same temperatures here in Kansas. Still, it didn't stop Maya and Pierson from wanting to play in the snow.
ReplyDeleteIt was chilly in your house! Brrr! Cute pics!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Today we had temps above zero and Leroy was so excited that he got to stay outside longer than 10 minutes! Hope you are staying warm!
ReplyDeleteBella would approve. She kept going out and wouldn't come back in. I had to herd her back into the house several times, for her own good.
