Today is not a particularly cold day, upper thirties, off/on sun, no wind....pretty much good temps for double-coated dogs like a Corgi. Jimmy and Wilson noticed a squirrel trespassing in the backyard and wanted to go out.
NOW! I let them out and they quickly ran off the intruder.
I look up from my computer just a couple of minutes later..........
|
OK! We want back in! Open the door! |
|
Jimmy: I said we want back in! (Yes, my windows are really as dirty as they look!) |
Less than five minutes passes......
|
Jimmy: Crap! The squirrel's back! |
Jimmy's distress calls bring Wilson running as well..............
|
OK! We want back out! |
|
How long will they stay out this time? |
Not to worry, Jimmy and Wilson....I live to serve you! Even if I have to hobble over on crutches! LOL!
They are just making sure you get up enough to circulate your blood. ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't know what I would do without having a dog door. That would drive me insane! I know when I used to visit my parents with my dog Shadow, they didn't have a dog door and I had to constantly let her in and out, in and out. She thought it was a pretty great game but I quickly tired of it.
Ha! Loved the pics.
ReplyDeleteSo funny and so similar to our house. Its in and out all day long if I'd let him!
ReplyDelete~Rebecca & Teach
haha so funny and they look so cute
ReplyDeleteThey don't help us out do they? Hope you are getting stronger and will at least be able to enjoy the festivities.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
Oh geez. This is so my Flash. And now to scroll backward to find out why you're on crutches ...
ReplyDeleteBwahaahaa! We completely understand. If a door is closed we are ALWAYS on the wrong side. We usually play one dog in, two dogs out, change, two dogs in, one dog out, change..... (SHE just loves playing doorman).
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
We have photos just like that of Louie, and now Reggie, looking in/out of the dog-slimed French doors. A least with a Corgi the slobber is down low, and not at our eye level!
ReplyDelete"A door is what a dog is perpetually on the wrong side of" (Ogden Nash). I laughed because going to the door is all I seem to do!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you're all on yard level. Hobbling up and down the steps would be more than any dog lover should put up with.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh..isn't that always how it goes. Lol...gotta love them though.
ReplyDeletevery cute
ReplyDeleteretro rover
LOL! Sounds like you need a doggy door. :)
ReplyDeleteSilly dogs...they are all the same about the door!
