We Wondered Which One Would be Wider...Well, Wilson's Was! on Wordless Wednesday
Let me state for the record that I ABHOR the fact that these poor alligators are made into tacky souvenirs. You see them in every beach shop. However, Wilson, in his doggy innocence, was absolutely enamored with them. You know me, I'm not one to pass on a photo-op!
Too funny Wilson...you could take him any day.
ReplyDeleteHilarious!!! Definitely was wider.

Wilson dude you have pawsome toothies. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
ha ha! That's hilarious!
ReplyDeleteWow! You had me...I wondered if it were alive!
ReplyDeleteI think you can take him Wilson!
ReplyDeleteFunny. We ended up with a croc skull in one of our kids bedrooms (thanks to someone gifting it to our kid). Scooter snuck inside & found it & promptly took it out onto the back lawn for a chew. We were experiencing torrential downpours at the time. Our neighbour freaked out & thought Scooter had hunted down a real one & semi-devoured it. Very funny!!! Never look at a croc the same since......
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Wilson had similar designs on this croc-head. I'd say he was thinking Alligator Jerky!
DeleteI think these are just fantastic pictures. Way too cute. How did you get the reaction? How do people take pictures like this?! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI always have my camera with me as you just never know when a photo-op will arise. Wilson's reaction was all his. He sniffed out the shelf of gator heads, and was very interested. He made those faces all on his own and I snapped the pictures!
DeleteLol. I think Wilson might secretly want to be an alligator!
ReplyDeleteWait.....It that GATOR?!?!!?!!
ReplyDeleteI agree dreadful souvenir cute pic
ReplyDeleteUrban hounds
Those pictures are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I wonder what he was thinking when he saw them. I hope he doesn't get confused with a live one some day.
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious. Mr. N also loves the store that sells taxidermy items.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sure Rita would have the same reaction! (And I would have the same reaction as you - "Why, why, why do these have to be a souvenir?? ... .and where's my camera?"
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add that I went to the PO today and your copy of the book is on its way!
DeleteWOOHOO! I am so excited! Can't wait! Thank you!
DeleteWilson Wins!!!
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Wilson's was indeed!
ReplyDeleteOM NOM NOM. Alligator is delicious! My friend used to raise them in her bathtub when we were kids.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I agree with Wilson that alligator looked pretty real to me too! Im glad Wilson let him know who is real.
ReplyDeleteWider Wilson, wider!
ReplyDeleteNo worries, and love, Stella and Rory
There are some photo ops you just CAN'T pass on. This would definitely be one of them. Lions and tigers and alligators...oh my...
ReplyDeleteWilson must not have seen the "You break it, you buy it" sign. Adorable photo!
ReplyDeleteJanet
The look on Wilson's face and in his eyes is just priceless! Great photos! (Agree with you completely about the disgusting practice of baby alligators--or alligators of any age--being killed for the souvenir trade.)
ReplyDeleteSusan and Wrigs
Hehehe those are great!! X
ReplyDeleteBOL, what awesome photos! Perfect timing on your part to get the photos. I thought it must be a plastic alligator until I read your bit below the photos. That's horrible but I'm never surprised at the depths humans will sink to to exploit animals. I would have taken the photos too!
ReplyDeletePerfect timing!
ReplyDeleteAt least Wilson was careful in his approach - Porter would have grabbed & crunched as fast as he could!
Great shots! I wasn't quite sure what was happening at first! :)
ReplyDeleteWilson will beat that gator any day! Look at the big teeth he has!
