Cast My Memory Back There, Lord....

It seems like just the other day....

My, how you have grown!
Sometimes I'm overcome thinking 'bout how fast the time goes by........

*A nod to Van Morrison for paraphrasing some of his lyrics.....And if you want a really funny Cardigan-themed rendition of that song...go here . It is beyond wonderful!

    1. LOL! It does indeed! But, in Jimmy's defense, I picked him up from his breeder in early August. It was HOT weather!

  6. OMD, so cute! I was just saying on another "walk down memory lane" puppy pic post yesterday how much I wish we had puppy pics of Rita! (She was already 7 mo. when we got her. Might have to google "GSD/beagle mix puppies" and see if I can find something that would make for a good stand-in!)

  10. Awe. What a sweet little guy he was. And, if I remember correctly, totally in charge even at that age!

  12. Baby Jimmy makes me squee and my cheeks hurt! :) The title of this post made me stop and go, "huh?", by the way. I honestly couldn't remember why it sounded so familiar (just like I can't remember by kids' names some days, I guess). ;) Anyway, Dewi says he's proud to share Van Morrison's tune with your boys!

  13. Oh my gosh!!!! I can't believe Jimmy was that tiny. From your stories I always imagine Jimmy bossing Wilson around. Can't comprehend the little version of Jimmy next to Wilson... haha

    1. Lisa, Even at that tiny size, from the very day Jimmy came home, he has been the boss. He stole a stick from Wilson in the first 5 minutes after getting out of the car that very 1st day.

  15. I get sad thinking about it and I've been thinking about it a lot lately. We've already had Georgia 4 years. How?!
