The Hat Thief!

We just returned from a long weekend at the beach. It's the time of year when we turn our condo over to the rental management company for the golf/summer season so it can earn its keep. We had gorgeous blue sky days, albeit very windy, and nice warm temperatures. By the time we had driven about 3 hours north toward home yesterday, the temperature had plummeted about 30 degrees. By the time we were back in Virginia, we were driving through wet snow. And this morning, we woke to an inch or so of snow coating the trees! While the snow is gorgeous, I am ready for the warm weather we left behind in Myrtle Beach.

Hopefully, in the next few days, I can catch up on all the blogs I've missed and see what everyone has been doing.

    1. It is sort of sad not be able to use the place in peak season. But, Myrtle Beach is super hot/muggy in the middle of summer and so jam-packed with tourists that the roads are clogged. Even in our own building, you can wait for ten minutes to catch the elevator. We're on the 11th floor, so you don't want to take the stairs too many times a day, esp. if you are carrying something. It would be a bit much for the boys' short legs as well....It's still summer weather when we get it back in September, but most of the crowds are gone....

  6. What fun! It looks like it was absolutely the perfect time to be at Myrtle Beach. We are a little jealous of your spring snow!

  7. The last photo is absolutely hilarious.

We had some signs of spring last weekend. But it got cold and snowy again this weekend. Total bummer

  8. That looks quite fun!

Not sure if I am allergic to bees, but have a great fear of them and don't want to find out. Also - wasps are even worse! But they tend to travel alone so seem a little easier to escape. :)

  10. Cute pics! Looks like a fabulous time!

Sounds like a smart plan you have there with the condo. (I don't like crowds and traffic either. We always try to travel in September!)
