...It made me laugh and it reminds me of one of Jimmy's many nicknames....
At home, next to John's favorite TV chair is a dog bed. Both dogs vie for it, but when John is watching TV in that chair, Jimmy is sure to get the bed so he can be next to his favorite human. As part of sitting there, Jimmy
demands that expects John to keep an arm over the side of the chair, touching him at all times. If John forgets (or his arm goes numb!), Jimmy pops straight up and pokes John's elbow to get the hand back. He will do it many times in a row until the hand returns. Yes, Jimmy can be a bossy little SOB......Anyway, this persistent hopping up and down earned Jimmy a nickname: Pogo....as in
Pogo Stick .
When I saw this (somewhat out of focus) picture, I immediately thought of his Pogo nickname.....

How about your pups, any interesting nicknames?
Real name: Ragamuffin (Rags)--because that's what he looked like when we found him, as a pup, chained to a tree. Nicknames: Muffin, Mr. Muffabino, head of the Muffabino Familia, Mr. Big, Goomy Coco Pop--a derivation of Gimme Gimme Coco Puffs, that 50s cereal ad (comes to Goomy). I think I've embarrassed myself enough.....

What a cute and appropriate nickname for Jimmy! Sometimes I wonder if pets should not be named until they display a certain trait. Pogo would've been a unique name for Jimmy, don't you think?

Howdy All, what a great photo and yes, it certainly fits. Our two have some nicknames, Stellie Bellie, "Give me those blxxdy socks", Smellie Stellie and Rory has Snory Rory, Little Man and "Stop licking that blxxdy bench".
