I've probably watched a few too many episodes of NCIS what with the title I chose for today's picture! But I have to say, I LOVE MY CAMERA! Point and shoots and phone cameras may be convenient, but they don't see/catch what the SLR's do! I was really surprised to see the "rooster tail" of water splatters coming off of Jimmy. You gotta love the crazed expression on his face as well! Click to enlarge for the full effect.
Oh, my! The rooster tail is wonderful! It would make a great quilting pattern! The crazed look on your boy's face is great--funny what the freeze action of the camera makes of a happy moment--Darby looks positively EVIL in some shots I've caught--all in the middle of glorious fun! Are you a self-taught photographer with a good eye, or did you take classes?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment! Well, many millenium ago, I got a BA in Fine Art, with my emphasis in illustration and photography. However that was 30 (egads!) years ago. I am pretty much re-learning the camera stuff. Never did much w/ the degree. Worked for a portrait photographer for a year and starved. Been in computers ever since....
ReplyDeleteSo cool and refreashing!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs & smoochies!! XOXO

Great picture! Do you think that Jimmy is saying to himself "motorboast, motorboat, motorboat"?
ReplyDeleteWow great shot, I'm still learning to get the right set up on my SLR for fast shots. I carry it with me all the time, and don't think I would go back to a point and shot.
ReplyDeleteI have my photos on my blogg linked to Georges
Jan's eye view, if you can give me any pointers, as to set up, for fast shots, or lenses I should be looking at, it would be appreciated.

Very fun!!! It is amazing what the camera can capture that you never see in real life.
