On our walk the other morning during our arctic blast, I noticed these weird ice "growths" in one of the tunnels that lets rain run-off channel into our neighborhood lake. Always on the look-out for new photo-ops, I thought these qualified! Another cell phone pic so not the greatest but better than nothing! The weather has since warmed up so they are probably melted away.
Also seen on a walk recently, and posted on FaceBook, was this cute little fox. I took a couple steps closer so I could steady the camera on a tree and off he went, taking no chances that I was a threat.

Foxy Lady! ......But NCC*
*No Corgi Content
I've been trying to make a point of always taking my camera on the dog walks. It seems every time I get lazy and don't, something picture worthy happens. Yesterday, I took it and had the long lens on!

Jimmy Says....
And Stay Out!
We encountered a red fox on our afternoon walk. I think there is a breeding pair living very close to my house as I see two of them together often. Jimmy made sure to run this one off. I was very glad the leash was on! Not a great photo because in my haste to snap the shot, I flipped the camera setting into Macro! Not exactly what I needed for this shot. Alas, my vision ain't what it used to be.....
