Black and White Sunday: Going Camping?

So I walked into the family room the other day, and this is how I found Wilson. He had done that to himself, wiggling around on the sofa until the pillows were just so. Remember when you were a kid and you would "go camping" by making a tent with your sheets? I guess Wilson was trying that with the pillows. He stayed this way quite a while, silly boy!

Home Alone

When I got home from the agility trial on Saturday, I pretty much turned right around and went back out to have dinner, leaving the boys home alone.We didn't go far and were probably gone an hour at most. When I walked into the kitchen, this sight across the room made me laugh out loud! Wilson had one of his "happy rolls" like he does with his carpet , flipping and flopping the pillows this way and that. I've posted about this scene once before but I find it so endearing, I'm going to post about it again! And then of course, there was the time we came home to this! Some people come home to the trash strewn around or the bread stolen off the counter. We come come to the remains of pillow fights!

Pillow Fight?

This was the scene in the front guest room when I got home from giving John a ride to pick up his motorcycle from the shop. It looks like either the boys had quite the pillow fight while we were out, or some early winds from approaching Hurricane Irene whirled things around a bit! Since the windows were closed tight, I don't think Irene is to blame :-)

What an odd week, we started with an earthquake and we are ending with a hurricane. Mother Nature must have had her Wheaties for sure! I hope all my East Coast friends weather this storm well!

Here's the scene that greeted me recently as I came upstairs. Do you think I should fluff their pillows and perhaps get them a nightcap?

Wilson:  Hey! Do you think you could get the light? It's in my eyes!

Before and After

You might remember a while back I posted about Wilson's Odd Habit . Well, that's not his only quirky behavior. Fairly often, he likes to hop up on the sofa and root around like a gleeful pig, snorting, moaning, groaning, little barks and growls, wiggling until he has messed up the pillows to his satisfaction. He will do this whether anyone is there to watch or not. Last night he did a particularly good job of it. It's really quite cute! He started at the top left side and worked his way along....
